Descrizione

A great trail with a 900 meter elevation drop taking you through thick pine forest, open woods where there was once a forest fire opening up the view to the surrounding mountains. On a clear day you can see, among tons of other mountains, Grivola, Monte Emilius, and a part of Monte Bianco Massif from the top of the trail.

You just have to pedal up 900 meter first.

The trail starts off on gras and dirt before it dives into the thick forest where the track is covered in pine needles and roots. Further down, the trail turns into dirt and embedded rocks with the occasional root thrown in. Even though the hill is steep, the trail itself is not that steep except for a few parts, all which should be managable.

Last stop for water on the way up is in the small Village of Blavy. Right above the water fountain, there is a table where you can eat your lunchpack and study the map of the Roisan trail center.

Max Steel valutato Roisan Praperriat bene. Easy uphill path for 2 jours long (or more for me...) in the woods but you have some parts with a nice view. Then a nice single track downhill 10-20min long in the woods, not so technical, but some parts are rocky and quite steep, so you have to find the grip, especially in very dry conditions with dirt and leafs on the track. I am a beginner with a hard tail rent bike. It was medium difficulty for me: the downhill is a bit hard sometimes.16.oct.2017
