Round trip on Hardangervidda from Fagerheim to Krækkja.

Easily explore the Hardangervidda mountain plateau with a tour around the Storekrækkja lake. From the Fagerheim cabin along the Hardangervidda scenic route, the path goes through terrain typical of the plateau and passes the Krækkja tourist cabin around halfway. The walk is long, but the path is relatively flat.

After Krækkja you follow the direction of Halne, as soon as you cross the river with the bridge you turn left and follow an unmarked path. Here it can be wet in the spring, just keep the water on your left hand as you return to the trail at the end.

As the path can be rocky and wet in parts, hiking boots or shoes are recommended.
