Grovgardane og Flatagrov

Description

The trip to Grovgardane and on to Flatagrov starts at the parking lot along Rv 7. The route first goes up to Teigeflate, which is an old dance farm (information board in the town) and then goes along a tractor road to Grovvegen, which you follow up the hill. At Gjerden, you turn off the road and follow an old path (the old Grovvegen) which winds steeply up the valley side until you come back onto the Grovvegen, which you follow further up to Grovgardane and Flatagrov. Alternatively, you can follow the Grovvegen the whole way. Along the path and the road, it is mostly wooded. When you get up to Grovgardane and Flatagrov there is a good view over Rotneim. The trip can be extended to Fagerdalen, Ursdalnatten and Nestedokk. In Grovgardane there are several old yards.
