Røgjin

Description

A nice trip with great views at the top in all directions. High mountain terrain.

This is a slightly demanding trip with about 365 m of ascent and it is about 2.5 km one way. The trip goes back and forth the same way, is about 5 km in total and the estimated walking time is about 2.5 hours round trip.

From the car park, go back up the road and follow it for about 600 metres. Enter the path to the right at the sign for Røggjin. (There is also a short cut before you get to the proper hiking sign.) Follow the clearly blue marked path up to Snaufjellet. The path splits a little after the start where you can either go straight up or there is an easier and more clearly marked route to the right.
