Fånefjell - Lauvdal

Description

Follow the road up through the hamlet to a gravel road towards Bruflot. Take the ATV road further up towards Finnstøyl. There are occasional steep climbs both on the road and on the ATV road, but the descent is all the more enjoyable.

Along the ATV road you will come to a clear "Bruled" (stone setting) where it is good to take off inwards towards the top and the viewpoint on Fånefjell. This is probably one of Setesdal's very best views both south and north in the valley with the Byglandsfjorden. The trip is best done in fine/good weather.
