Austerheimsdalen adventure ride⛰️

Description

Climbing on a tractor road up to Fjotnene then about 1 mile trail back down to Austerheim.

some pushbike where the trail becomes too technical to cycle but can mostly be cycled.

Parts of the trail are hard to find again, it's an adventure ride so it shouldn't be perfect🤩

(Is far from civilization and no phone coverage from Fjotene and to Varen approx., good to be prepared)

🚨The path grows again in the summer, best spring and autumn🚨

Access

Park at the arches and follow the steep tractor road up towards Helgedalen, follow the path towards Fjotene (box with book and many signs) where the river enters a tunnel
