Canada-Ayalon MTB trail

Description

Right in between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, the Canada park MTB trail gives a good taste of Israel's landscape. Rolling hills with rocky terrain, very typical views, some archaeology from Roman times, and a trail that isn't too difficult but still keeps you busy. While there's no mandatory air-time or huge obstacles, there are some technical bits and the trail is recommended for experienced riders.

In my opinion one of the most fun trails the area has to offer, only takes a couple of hours or so so there's time left in your day for more.

In Latrun junction just 2 minutes drive south on road no.3 you can find a bike shop to get supplies and repairs ( Rock n' Road ).

The GPS file offers one of the main variations, but there are more added with time.

Access

Drive from Road 3 to the main entrance to Ayalon-Canada Park, find a parking spot anywhere in the entrance area and start your ride from there with a little warm up on the road and gravel path.
