The tour starts at Torsetlia Fjellstue and follows the dirt road up to the path.

Steep initially on nice paths, eventually the paths become very rocky and the vast majority will probably go off in a couple of places. The paths gradually improve and turn into a tractor road for the last 3-4 km towards Syningen.

Generally speaking, this is a great mountain tour with occasionally great views, the disadvantage is that 30% of the section is so rocky that you cannot enjoy the view but must focus on the ground. I took the trip after a long drought so all the bogs were dry, will probably be three or four bog holes and pass a normal summer

I was riding a 26" XC bike with gravel tires and it was definitely the wrong choice, but my trail bike was in pieces. This was a contributing factor to me having to wheel the bike 20-30% of the way

Recommend a trail bike 29" with wide tires or a +27.5". Protection tires are recommended and good suspension travel will not go wrong either.

With the right bike and strength in the legs, this will be a great trip for those who are used to somewhat rough trails.
