Description

Follows lesser-known trails in Kisgruveåsen. This is the path for you who are in "exploration mode" and like narrow paths.

Starts on a dirt road under the new E134 before following an old cart track past the old fluorspar mines. Then on a nice path. A couple of very easy cruxes (the only ones on the round). A couple of hundred meters on a dirt road before you turn left over a small bridge. Then there is a real bend before you cross the route to the ski slope at Glomstulmyra. There has been logging in the area so keep your eyes open so you follow the path where possible. At the top of the tractor road, keep to the right and pass a couple of cabins. When you get to the last cabin (white frames) you should turn right about 10 meters before. A little hard to see the start of the trail, but it's there. Then follows a section on a narrow, narrow path. The path is nice, but the heather is high, so here it is important to keep your eyes open. After passing a couple of lovely bogs, you come to a more defined path network by Sleikebekkdammen. Follow the path past the old setra and arrive at Sleikebekkdammen. Here you can either follow the track down to Kisgruveien, or join the route to Trytetjern. Incidentally, this is a nice lunch spot with a gapahuk. The path continues across the yard to the cabin at the north end (say hello and smile if you meet someone). Then it's a fun downhill ride on a cart road before reaching Kisgruveveien again. There is a path (ski track) on the other side of Kisgruveveien. Follow this all the way down to the intersection at Ertsjernet. Unfortunately, logging machines have destroyed parts of this too, but follow the GPS track and keep your eyes open.
