Ned fra Klofjell

Description

Fun ride which is perhaps most fun when it's really dry!

Up: Start from the parking lot at Vikkelihytta, signs up towards Klofjell. Mostly technical climbing, some sections are push-bike. A steady, steep climb up until the forest gives way, then gentle sections up towards the top characterized by swales and bogs. Great view from the top. Option to sign in the visitor's log.

Down: Calm start with nice boulders and small drops. Down towards the forest the path narrows and becomes steeper and more technical. Good mix of challenge and fun.

Access

The dirt road in from the top of Holkebylia. Turn left at the gravel roof, on the last hill up towards Honsjøhytta you turn sharply up to the left and follow the road to Vikkelihytta. Several paths start from here, including the path up to Marifjell. Check the signage, and be considerate!
