Bjørgeseter via Viubråtan
Description
Harestua-Viubråtan-Bjørgeseter-Harestua. Moderate to demanding trail. Can be a bit demanding when it's wet and slippery. Some easy sections and some more demanding sections where there is quite a lot of rock.
Access
From Harestua cycle to Viubråtan and take the path that goes north. Keep to the left after the underpass (through a small gate which it is important to close behind). Then follows a somewhat rough section with demanding stones and roots. Over a couple of bridges and then a small patch of rocks. Then onto the dirt road that goes to Bjørgeseter. Immediately turn hard to the right towards Sølvtjernveien and Piperkrysset. After only about 100-200 metres, a blue-marked path goes up to the left. Follow this path to dirt road. Keep left and then left into the forest. After about 4-500 meters of easy ascent, there are some demanding sections of the path. Turn around at the top and cycle down again towards Harestua. Enter Sølvtjernveien and turn left on the path towards Harestua Station. Pass over the road to the Solar Observatory and down to the right towards the Speiderhytta. Gravel road back to Harestua station.
