Kort tur over Skimten og Tverråsen

Description

Hour's trip over Skimten and Tverråsen that starts and ends at Eiksetra.

Past Eiksetra in the direction of Solvang, turn left after the barrier and onto the tractor road. Follow the ski track up to Skimten and turn right there down in the direction of Tverråsen.

Steep up to Skimten but relatively easy trail, from Skimten down to Tverråsen it is a bit more technical, steeply downhill in a couple of places and a couple of drops. From Tverråsen and back to Eiksetra there is a nice downhill trail.

Marks the trail as red because of the steep climb up to Skimten and three or four difficult sections

The trip can easily be extended by 6-7 km if you start at Eggevollen and take the ski track inwards to Eiksetra.

Take the trip in the evening so you can see the sunset at Tverråsen, recommended

Recommend slightly solid tires.
