Østerøya rundt

Description

Scenic and fun flowing varied trail. This is a nice trip around some of Sandefjord's nicest coastline and costal forests.

Mostly flowy pine trails connected together with gravel and tarmac. This make for a good on and off dynamic.

The trail fits all levels, by pumping fast or just enjoying the scenery.

There are some root gardens and some blue crux.

At the start there is a staircase you have to carry up, but the trail is worth it.

Before the last great "downhill" section you have to carry or push your bike for about 150m.

The trail can be cut short at anytime, by taking the main road back to Sandefjord center.

Access

The trail head starts and generally follows the "kyststien" with blue signs and marker.

Parking at both ends, find a free space by some of the local industry.

Parking at end can be "Gokstad haugen" viking grave monument.
