Over Grønfjell fra Brydalskjølen

Description

Perhaps the most cycled path across the forest border on Tynset. Close to the city centre, suitable technical challenges, great views and rough descent(s). The route drawn here is the route that is most often chosen. Up from Lauvåsen on Brydalskjølen, around Lauvåskletten and Oppmåshøa on a strong and dry path. It's nice to take the top of the Lavåsklette with you, so you get a couple of short nice descents, before you cycle on.

After Oppmåshøa comes a small section which is mostly always a bit wet after the descent. After passing the stream at the bottom, the rest is mostly dry, with a few short marsh passages (everything can be cycled).

When the top of Bratthøa is reached, a magical descent awaits. Starts with a gentle and fast mountain path and ends with steeper terrain down towards Skardet. The last part borders on red marking.

Follow the path further towards the ski lodge and take the Hektoløypa down for a perfect finish towards the centre

Access

Take the asphalt up if you want to save your legs for more trail, or use, for example, the midtmåssåstien and continue up to Hugudalsvangen if you want to walk up the trail as well.
