Description

Soft, soft, soft from top to bottom. Beautiful path, perfect slope and a great view from the top. Since there was a lot of water in the river when I cycled here, there was a small toll on the wrong side of the river, follow the blue markings and not the track where it makes a gravel pit. Easy to find the path as it has cairns with blue marks all the way. Map lichen, which covers large parts of the swath, gets very slippery when wet, but I enjoyed the descent in pouring rain with little air in the tyres.

Access

About 3 km east of Felle you will find a gravel road towards Sandtjønn. Here you can pass a barrier by paying NOK 40. Drive to Sandtjønn and park here. Follow the signs up towards Harvefjell. There are several routes you can take up and down the mountain. I would like to think that everyone can ride a bike, but I took it as the gps track shows.

Note that there is a crossroads about halfway (6548953.4; 139620.56). You can follow both paths upwards, but the northern path has the most slopes, the southern one has less slope and is best suited for cycling up. If you choose the southern one, go north towards Harvefjell at "Link" -ref norgeskart.no (6547563.05; 138551.54), just follow the blue path that goes north towards the cairn on Harvefjell. Note that at the time of writing this path (Link-Harvefjell) is not marked on Norgeskart.no.
