Bratthøa ned Skardet

Tynset, Innlandet, Norway
2.9km|02.07.2020

Description

Top trip to Bratthøa, one of several descents from the top. Cycle from the top towards the west. Wide path from the top that stays wide and nice all the way down to the forest edge. Some rock in the mountains, but not rough and possible at high speed. From the forest down somewhat more technical, but a "kind" red trail. Some small drops and rocks that can present some challenges, but completely possible for a beginner to try.

Access

The top of Bratthøa is most often reached by cycling from Brydalskjølen around Lauvåsen, up Lauvåskletten, Oppmåshøa, Veslekletten and the ridge towards the top. Can also be cycled up from Hugudalsvangen to Veslekletten, which shortens the trip somewhat if you come up from Brydalskjølen, or Trolløypa up from Holmensvangen or from Aumlivangen. The last two meet just before the last trip up Bratthøa.
