Hektoenløypa

Description

Perfect ending to a trip from Bratthøa or Ripan, and fundamentally worth a trip in itself. From the ski lodge (Skardvangen) you follow the path that winds down the hillside towards the centre, and first to the right about 20 meters down the hill. From there, a rough children's needle path between at high speed, several fine balls to air the wheels on. When crossing the light track, you just continue straight ahead and the path that continues on the opposite side.

Some rocks and partly rougher just before the light trail, otherwise a very nice trail

Access

The path starts at Tuftehaugen, Skistua (Skardvangen on the map), descends on the west side towards the centre. Parking space a few hundred meters away. Nice to combine as a finish after being over Bratthøa.
