ATTENTION! This has many wet bog areas and should therefore be avoided in wet periods to avoid unnecessary wear and tear on the vegetation.

A great tour of approx. 17 km (400 altitude meters). Sometimes technically demanding ground. The higher the mountain - the smoother the surface.

The tour starts with a transport leg on gravel: Park at Skålsrudstølen, but start by cycling into the Fjellset stølen. At the first cabins on the left, keep an eye out for a small path that goes up towards one of the cabins. Behind the cabin the path continues. The vast majority of them expect a good deal of pushing up to the water Øvre Fiskebutten. The path gets better over time.

At Øvre Fiskebutten, turn right and follow the path up a gentle mountainside. Follow it further over a small peak, and you can clearly see the cairn at Dyna, which is the highlight of the trip. From the top of Dyna you get an incredible view of Hallingskarvet, Reineskarvet, Hemsedalsfjella and Hardangerjøkulen. On a clear, good-weather day, you can see Gaustatoppen in the southwest.

From Dyna, you cycle the same path you came up on (Bergstien) back to the lake Øvre Fiskebutten. At Øvre Fiskebutten, keep straight ahead / slightly to the right towards Hjartetjern. Furthermore, there are many nice downhill sections with good paths in slightly hilly terrain. There will also be several wet bog sections and some very rocky sections that put the technique to the test. Follow the path down towards Skålsrudstølen until you are back where you parked the car.

The trip takes from 2 to 4 hours, depending on fitness and skill.

Directions: Follow the FV214 westwards from the center of Nesbyen for approx. 13 km towards Tunhovd. Turn right towards Myking cottage area. Remember money for toll roads. Follow the road approx. 3 km. Turn right towards Skålsrudstølen. Follow the road all the way forward approx. 6 km. Here you will find parking by the barrier.
