Bjørkedalen til Mjøvann via Jarseng og Risseter

Description

The trail starts in Bjørkedalen. It follows the old railway line towards Lunde. Over the Railway Bridge Here you follow the path until you come to a junction, where there is a notice board. You then follow the path that goes to the right. You will then come to another crossroads, now follow the path to the left. Now facing a good climb! At the logging field, follow the path that goes to the right. This path is not marked! Follow the tractor road! Partly little used so it grows back. You will then come out on Klepp. Follow the signs, on the right, towards Jarseng/Lidseter. After the farm yard, the path turns slightly to the left. Keep/follow the path to the left. Not the tractor road!

At Jarseng, you follow the markings Natursti/Risseter. The nature trail is a very good and well-maintained trail. Follow the markings until you reach the junction towards Mjøvann. The path is blue-marked, but little used at times. In some places it is a bit overgrown. But nice path! Eventually you will come to a 3-part gravel road/construction road intersection. Follow the road in the middle road.

Access

Follow the dirt road that runs along the old railway line, right by the 2nd railway bridge on Bjørkdalsveien. The path starts directly below the residential building.
