Presteveien fra Bjørkedalen til Mjøvann

Description

The path is the old Presteveien from Eidanger to Siljan. On this "segment", you start at Nordalsveien and end up at the Mjøvann dam. The path goes through some grazing area, so there are a couple of places where you have to cross some fences. The last hill down towards the construction road to the Mjøvann dam is somewhat overgrown in summer.

At Mjøvann, you can either choose to cross the dam and follow the path/gravel towards Skifjell. Alternatively, follow the path towards Jarseng. Access to this goes straight ahead along Mjøvann. Lead the bend to the left up a bend!

Access

You can get to the path from several places along Bjørkedalen. It is marked with the sign "Presteveien". Cycle in at Nordalveien in Bjørkedalen. The path starts with a staircase, approx. 50m from Bjørkedalsveien. Then just follow the signs.
