Holtavegen Velteplassen - Holten
Description
Turn left onto the marked path, up a small hill. Follow this one. After approx. 200 m there is a path junction, the left path goes towards Drageskardet, this track goes directly towards Holten. The path is the old road the school pupils used when they walked between Svea and Fresvik. It is easy, hilly terrain before a nice flowing trail descends to the stole area at Holten. From Holten, it is possible to cycle the gravel road back to Velteplassen or you can continue towards Mulakamben, see Velteplassen - Drageskardet - Mulakamben.
Access
If you start from the car park at Skard, follow the asphalt road further down the other side of Fresvikåsen until you come to a toll road that goes off diagonally to the left. Turn onto this gravel road and follow it for 1.5 km until you come to a pond, locally called Velteplassen.
