Gamleveien Fresvik - Skard
Description
Cross the river/stream (possible to jump over) Hold high on the swing. This tends to be very slippery when wet but should be very fine now. To make it less slippery, as well as to make the path easier to follow, an attempt has been made to scrub away part of the black lichen on the mountain. Follow this track. You are eventually channeled onto the path. The path is marked in red, but the markings are not easy to see/follow. Usually have a clean-up operation here every spring, but haven't managed this this year, so there are probably quite a few trees and twigs lying across the road after the winter. About 2/3 down the path you come to a y-junction, here you keep to the left up a small hill, cross a small landslide, and keep to the right where the path gets worse again. Have to cross the forest for about 50 meters down to the right to get onto the other path again. You then follow the path until you return to the asphalt road
Access
A bit difficult to find the entrance to the trail, but it starts from the meeting place/parking lot about 500 meters below Skard. Here, the entrance has been cleaned up a bit, but no good flow for now.
