Bessheim-Bessvatnet

Description

The path follows the hiking trail up to Bessvatnet. It's easy to cycle at the start, but after a while it becomes steep and sometimes technically demanding. When you later come up towards Bessvatnet, it flattens out, and you get a fantastic view.

NB. The track log stops a little before Bessvatnet, but you can cycle all the way up there.

At Bessvatnet, you are right on the border of the National Park, and you should only stick to the path in this area.

Access

Park at Bessheim and follow the signs and DNT markings up the hill on the north side of the river Bessa.
