Olavstøl

Description

**Please do not shuttle this trail, park at the bottom and ride up.**

This is a trail we've done a lot of work on to make rideable from top to bottom, cutting back trees and bushes, strimming, bench cutting in section and rearranging a lot of rocks to make it more fun to ride!

Great trail which has a variety of terrain from top to bottom. Begins at the last cabin of Olavstøl (higher up after this is not a nice trail, lots of awkward rocks). This top section you ride up and back down the same trail so you can also just start at the end of the road.

- Begins on open mountain side as you ride the well trail through the cabins of Olavstøl, some bits here can be wet/boggy. Some cool sections of rock slab to ride also.

- When you reach the road again turn left as you see the large flattened 'airport' area to your left, at the far end of this you'll find a little trail to another cabin, pass the cabin to the right and the WC building, then turn down to the right through a grassy trail.

- Meet the road again and the trail is straight over, it is very hard to see the entrance. This section is pretty steep, technical and some large rocks. Once you come through a little stone wall you turn to the left, cross a stream and follow a small singletrack. Easy at first but then gets steeper.

- Once again straight over the road, a steep entrance and into a trail filled with al sorts of features. Some great singletrack through the blueberries into a big section of rock slab, watch out! it will be slipper! Then down into the pine forest and some nice rocks sections, mixed with some faster sections. 2 River crossings down here.

Access

Park at Liasete and ride all the way up the gravel road. Either start at the end of the gravel road or continue further up to the last cabin of Olavstøl.
