Description

Adventure trail

From the Col d'Arenys, you have different possibilities - check out the scree lines also :-). The descent starts steep on a bit washed out trail with lots of loose stones. Soon you come to the first meadows where the terrain is rolling and steep and flat parts alternate. In the steeper parts the trail often goes down in a straight line. In the flat parts you have to look carefully to find the trail and often it's more a freeride through the playful terrain with many bumps.

Coming into the treeline, you will find low hanging branches, a trail which is ridden not very often, cow tracks. Inbetween there are always some short nice sections with compact rocks or switchbacks.

Later the trail devides. We take the left alternitive which is nice and flowy at first, then more and more loose stones come up. When you are used to it, two thirds are nice to ride with cool turns and switchbacks. But then in the lower third, the stones just get to much and the fun is gone.

Access

Easy climb on the road to the Col d'Ordina. Then follow the road down on the other side, pass the Collet de Montaup and in the next switchback, leave the road into the valley. The first part is ridable or you can push your bike. The last 400vm you have to carry your bike to the Col d'Arenys.

Open terrain, nice view and sometimes a bit freeride
