Becca Trail
Description
Long ridge trail with great views in the Aosta Valley.
From the Rifugio Mont Fallère you pedal over the high plains bevore it starts to descent slightly and you fly through the wide alpine area.
After a short climb to Monte Becca, the long donwhill towards the Aosta Valley begins. First on a gravel trail, then on grippy dirt. When you enter the forest the terrain becomes steeper and the underground more sandy, with roots and some stones. It's not that easy and fast and flowy parts alternate with a bit rougher and more technical ones. There are some switchbacks and tight turns, but you don`t need to nose pivot.
After crossing a tarmac road, the lower part begins. In the end of 2017 this part was really worn out and not nice to ride. Many loose and big stones in a washed out channel make it really hard to ride. There are plans to maintain this section, so check the conditions before.
