Griseryggen nord

Description

This is a pull/wheel ride up, where you are rewarded with varied trail cycling down.

The upper section has wonderful cruising on singletrack in a pine forest with some technical sections. The doubletrack then follows from Svartjønn to the construction site. Note! There are many walkers here, be careful!

The last part at the construction site can be a bit difficult to find the way, as there are a number of in and out of different roads, so it might be a good idea to reconnoitre on the way up.

If you have strength at the top, it is recommended to follow the path over the top, and cycle the first 50 meters the wrong way down the other side of the mountain. Fantastic fun trail! Ride up the same road and complete the trip back. The direct path to the northwest from Griseryggen as shown on the map is probably as nice as the one on the GPS track and a little drier.

Access

Follow the path that starts at the top of the Hetterud field. Turn left at Svarttjønn, and follow signs to Griseryggen.
