Veslenup

Description

This is a path that should be tried if the conditions permit. Follow Ålmannvegen 5km until you have Veslenup (the highest peak you see in front of you) 90 degrees to your right. There is a very barely visible path to the right of the height you now have on the right. Follow it, and if you lose it, just point the wheel towards the top of Veslenup, and you will find the path. The path becomes clearer eventually, and you realize that you have a lovely flow path back down. Same way up as down. Some pushing up, but bike-friendly mostly all the way down, with the exception of the last bit down towards Haukeliseter Fjellstue. Unless you have mad skillz. Due to the snow, the trip is best taken in late summer or autumn.

We hit the mark on this trip with sunshine, no wind and 10 degrees. A bad winter also meant that this trip was snow-free when we rode it in mid-August.

Park at Haukeliseter Fjellstue. The path starts directly on the other side of the E134.
