Tisleidalen sykkelpark, rød runde
Description
Tisleidalen cycle park is not, strictly speaking, a cycle park in the true sense of the word, but is a nice collection of four to five marked tours of varying difficulty, several of which have built-in elements. In addition, there is a nice pump track by the car park.
You can find the brand by driving over the bridge at Joker Tisleidalen, which is also a very well-equipped convenience store with good service. Stop for a coffee, some Italian ice cream and maybe a banana or two before you get on your bike.
All the laps in the cycle park are well marked with color codes.
This round is red flagged, but you don't need to be a very good trail cyclist to have fun here.
The trip starts with a somewhat boring transport leg on a dirt road, interrupted only by a small and slightly bumpy loop through a logging field. If you don't like to go bumpy, you can just as easily continue straight ahead on the gravel road all the way to the top of the trail.
From the top, you first cycle a round on a forest path, which is a mixture of small knots and small flows - before you start the descents back to Merket (course and accommodation run by the Red Cross). The descents are smooth and safe, with some built-in elements in the form of jumps, dosages, etc.
All in all, a perfectly fine ride if you're in the area, but maybe not something I'd drive many miles to test out...
Good trip.
