Oppsjøtippen

Description

Efficient and fun trail with speed, flow, and a couple of rocky sections where you can sharpen your nerves.

The path starts on the left at the parking pocket seen from below, easy to find. Starts with a small pedaling section, but then just release the brakes and let yourself be carried away down the forest.

If you cycle the whole round, it takes approx. 25 minutes. A lot of fun for the money.

Access

Drive over the bridge at Oppsjø, on RV7 just east of the center of Ål. Follow the gravel road, turn right at the entrance to the gravel roof. When you get to a gravel road that goes up to the right, park in a parking space on the left side of the road (when coming from Oppsjø).

Cycle up the dirt road, turn left when you come to an intersection. When you reach 610 m above sea level, you will find a small parking pocket on your left. The trail starts in there. It takes about 16-20 minutes to ride up.
