Description

At the "varden" on Landåsfjellet or Nobbane, the path follows the ridge down towards Sædalen. At the first small uphill bend, keep left into the newly cut variant. A small technical section before crossing a small stream and entering a spruce forest. After a short distance in this forest, you cross a bog on a stilt and continue your journey on a beautiful floating path along the ridge down towards Helgesæter. Just before you get to the first house, there is a path to the left, follow this until you come to the dirt road up inner Sædalen. Here you can choose whether you want to cycle up to Gløvrevannene or link up the Endurobaby trail or whether you want to go down into the valley. If you want to go down into the valley, you can turn right just before you reach the road, keep the upper side of the road and a small wall for about 50 metres, when you enter the area with the scout gap huts keep straight ahead over the river. This path spits you out right next to the school in Sædalen.

About 6 km and just under 400 meters of altitude up and down.

Access

Two ways up;

Either up inner Sædalen towards Gløvrevanne, when you get to the high-voltage lines turn left and follow the marsh inwards for a bit before you can push/carry the bikes up to the top. Expect to get your feet wet.

Alternatively, you can start from the tour car park at either Nattlandsfjellet or at Helgesæter (Øvre Sædalsvegen) and follow the gravel road up towards Nubbevatnet. Here it is damn steep and heavy. Where the dirt road ends, you walk/cycle up a clearly marked wide path (approx. 40m) and at the mast at the top you turn almost 180 degrees to the right, follow this path past some old cabins and towards the top. The top is marked with a white concrete pillar/measuring point/"cairn".
