Description
A classic for beginners and advanced. On a dirt road from Landfalltjern to Tverken, and then on a blue trail with clods back. The height meters upwards are taken on gravel, the fun down on the path! Relatively easy path, but quite a few roots on the path. Some rock at the end, but possibility to get off/cycle slowly.
Access
Start from the large car park by the beach to Landfalltjern. Follow the signs for Tverken on the gravel road. From Tverken, the path (to the right of the yard at Tverken, 10m towards the chapel and to the left under the power poles with a transformer) goes over the marsh at Skinka, and further in the direction of Langemyr on bridges, further over Langemyr on a new road, further over Klemhemhøgda and back to Tverkenveien by S-ene. For a little extra path, follow the road for 200m towards Landfalltjern and then turn diagonally to the left (signposted) and follow the path until you come to a clear stream bed. From here you can either follow the path straight ahead (to the Landfallhytta) or take the stream path down back to the car park.
