Jørunskårheia - Himmeriket

Description

Very fun trip that is not too long. Great if you're short on time, but want quality cycling on swa and floating trails. The Gautefall/Nissedal area is covered with sva, and on this tour you really get to cycle sva. In other words, a nice and short intro to the type of trail cycling that characterizes the entire area. It is a bit muddy in places, but no stress. Therefore should not be cycled after heavy rain.

It's incredibly cool to cycle around the huge swains called Himmelriket (sightseeing) - marked Jørundskårsvående on the map

Access

Park at the Gautefall ski center and pedal your way up from the biathlon stadium. The path starts behind the house at the north end of the small pond.
