Gjuvastien
Description
A fantastic mountain path from Storefjell høyfjellhotell on Golsfjellet over Gullknapp, Langhovda, down Gjuva to Rosetra, a small respite on gravel, on the path towards Skutuset and Syningen and back to the hotel over a multitude of crags that challenge your balance.
The trail begins at the ski lift behind the hotel, pedal and push the bike up onto Gullknapp. There, just follow the path to Langhovda. From Langhovda, keep right and follow the path with a fantastic view towards Skogshorn.
After you pass a small stream, turn off to the right, then left at the next sign and follow the path until you cross Gjuva. Right after you cross Gjuva, the path continues south and follows Gjuva on the west side down to Rosetra. From here there is a small gravel drive until you reach the exit towards Bergavollen, where the path begins again on the left side of the road.
Here there is a small climb on a very nice path. When you get to Syningen there is a super descent followed by pure plank riding. Good trip.
Access
Drive to Storefjell hotel on Golsfjellet and park at the back. The trail begins at the ski lift.
