Fagerli via Jakobsbakken

Description

Great trail in the Sulisfjellene, can also be split into two parts if desired. The first part is between Balvatnet and Jakobsbakken, while the second part runs from Jakobsbakken to Fagerli.

Starts just before arriving at Balvatnet. The path is DNT marked with Jakobsbakken. The first part is about 14km long and follows the marked path all the way. My lot is somewhat overgrown, expect some parts where you have to carry the bike.

The second part, from Jakobsbakken down to Fagerli (Sulitjelma) is pure enduro fun. Here you cycle straight through the settlement in Jakobsbakken and follow the old tractor road until you turn off the path towards Fagerli. The path is well marked.

Access

Drive your car to the marked path just before Balvatnet. Alternatively, start directly from Jakobsbakken. Good parking in both places.
