Asdøl til Opsalsetra og Sørkastet nerrover
Description
Blåmerka from Asdøl to Opsalsetra via the ski track except Moldkastet. Nice ride with a somewhat steep start, so you can feel the atb pulse. From Opsalsetra, follow the ski track to the forest road and then a short bit on this before starting on Sørkastet. This is an old climb that is steep at the beginning with loose stones and lots of smooth moss-covered stones. Super descent that could need a bit of work, but certainly a hill climb. the last part is a climb down towards the square Bråtan which could use some clearing but it is passable. Fast descent on old slopes where the timber was transported to the village in the past.
Access
Cycle up from Sylling, by the monastery up Engerkleiva on the gravel road to Asddøltjern and down towards Haukelia. Turn left at the barrier to Haukelia and then the path begins where the road ends. Can also drive up the toll road (NOK 35)
