ATTENTION Carrying straight up must be expected over a long period of time!

It is a demanding trip by bike. This is for those who are particularly interested.

Demanding peak trip with a lot of effort to get up on Svafjell. but when you're up, 20 seconds passed and all the tiredness was forgotten. It's just completely raw to cycle on top here, you can be creative to cycle around exploring the area. The peak is 1022m above sea level.

We took it as a challenge to think that there are not many others who have taken the same route by bicycle.

The trip is possibly better from Vrådal, but we have not tested that yet.

This is a fantastic walk and proven to be a mecca for climbers.

Access

Access with your own car

From Treungen you drive to Fjone and turn left onto a dirt road by Fjone school. The exit is marked with a sign to Hægefjell.

This is a private road, so remember to pay road tax of NOK 70. Follow the dirt road until you reach the parking lot at the foot of the mountain.

Hægefjell is a popular mountain area both for hikers and mountain climbers from all over Europe, so you are probably not alone there.

In the car park there is an information board with e.g. map of the trip.
