Brenningsdalens østside
Description
Beautiful trail at the start. Then it gets more difficult to see ahead until it hits a tractor road coming in from the south. Note that the difficulty level is set high because the trail is unclear in places. Most of the trail is probably equivalent to blue difficulty on a well-used trail. Some clues to help you find your way:
- After 300m you will come to a logging field with grass vegetation. There is a large root mound straight ahead and a couple of huge rocks down to the left. Keep the direction slightly left between a birch and a rock and look down into the terrain in the same direction you came. You will see a slope with a large rock on it. Continue straight towards this. The path goes to the right of the slope.
- At the height of the stone you will see a hill straight ahead. Go straight over this. You will find a clearer path under a large spruce tree where the terrain bends downwards again. The path turns to the right and then into a small marsh. A bit narrow here.
- At the end of the marshland, keep left, and you will see a weak path that ascends to a pine moor with lush blueberry heather. The path disappears. Continue in the same direction to a small depression in the terrain where you will turn slightly left and up onto a ridge.
- On the ridge you will again see a hint of a path. When the path disappears again, continue in the same direction. Here someone has branched a path down steeply. Continue straight ahead through the dump and up the next hill.
- Here there is a stone on the knoll on the left hand side. When you pass below this you can see a path down into the terrain. It first turns left and then right onto a new ridge. Here the path is almost invisible, but eventually you see the line that follows the ridge.
- Soon the path turns slightly downward to the left and meets a logging machine track that immediately meets a more obvious tractor path.
- Here you can turn right: After 450m you will reach the gravel road where "Godteposen" ends.
- Or continue straight ahead at https://trailguide.net/10201
