Description
Technical and challenging downhill section with awesome views. A bucket list for all push/carry bikers who want a 8 km long DH descent in one go. Assume 2 hours up to the top in a landscape full of water and glaciers. Trail is on a stone built path and have a nice blend of "flattish" stone gardens and flow trail.
Access
Physically demanding trail head to reach. Follow the path up via Sundal Switchback and Botnavatnet. Do not expect phone reception.

Bonus: You can walk or carry your bike all the way to the top of Fonnanuten (upper right in picture) and see the glacier, but the decent is very difficult and unflowy on a bike.
