Puig de les Morreres

Adventure style descent with a great view.

From the top of the Puig de les Morreres you have a great view all around you. The high plains in your back, the Vall de Lord in front of you. The descent starts freeride style on the wide ridge. It's a mix of rocks, dirt and loose stones. If you look close, you see a 2m wide trail you can follow along the edge of the ridge. When you reach the tree line, the trail turns left, and here you have to look carefully and follow the GPS track. It's really hard to see the trail in the beginning but gets easier soon.

It traverses the slope. Through bushes, on dirt, gravel and loose stones. Some parts are like surfing because of the deep gravel. It ends a little bit above the Coll de Jou.
