Matajur Sud

Description

Amazing long and flowy trail. 12km and 1500vm down to Italy.

From the top of the Matajur, you have an amazing view all the way to the adriatic sea.

The trail starts from the peak with embedded rocks, gras and compact dirt. Watch out for some really sharp stones in between. The trail slightly looses hight and follows the slope. Once it enters the forest, there are more roots and dirt. Sometimes the trail is wide and you can choose your line through easy rock gardens.

On the ridge, there are some pedaling sections in between, the trail becomes narrow, follows the slope on nice dirt with embedded rocks and roots. Furhter down, the trail becomes more challenging and more rocky, but is never steep. The last part has some small jumps and berms down to Sorzento
