Beau Bois
Description
A nice trail that takes you through the woods full of tall pine trees. The trail is a mix of dirt, rocks, and roots, all covered in pine needles. It starts of quite mellow, but as soon as you take left when you come to the fork in the road, the trail gets more technical, and eventually quite steep.
When you get to Beau Bois (a collection of houses), take the road below the big house on the left and you will join the road where you biked up. The trail continuing down to Fiery is reported too steep, but let me know if this is wrong.
Access
From Champoluc, continue towards Frachey and Saint-Jacque. Continue on through the small village and take the steep road winding its way up through Blanchard and La Moléraz. You will eventually find yourself on flat field with a river. Cross the river and make your way to a large rock on your left. The trail starts here.
The climb from Champoluc is about 450 meters.
